Update

It's been a second since I've posted and I've been busy, so I wanted to give y'all a little update as to what I've been up to.

I completed an internship with CALYX Press, a feminist publisher based in Oregon. They are a volunteer organization that publishes feminist literature and journals, written by folks who may not have access to mainstream platforms. It was an amazing opportunity to learn and develop different skills. My project involved helping them regain their east coast foothold in terms of subscriptions, and I helped double their institutional subscribers! I loved getting the chance to contribute to such a well-respected pillar of the publishing community.

I redesigned my five star reads page, renaming it as The Book Nook. I wanted something more fun and relaxed instead of just a list of favorite books. The Book Nook is my digital bookshelf where I collect all my five star reads, to share them with you. Just click on the cover of one of the books and it links to my review. Go check it out!

I took a two-week trip to Greece with my friends, a blog post with pictures will be coming shortly.

I created a Substack account! I will be using it as an additional blogging spot with pictures, thoughts, and reflections. Substack is teeming with personal and informative essays; I will be contributing to those as much as I can. Go check it out, my first post is live and linked here. I will also be posting that essay here on this blog, so you can view it on either platform.
